I’m baaack! Did you miss me? I’ve been halfway around the world and back again and after a few weeks off blogging I feel like I’m finally getting back into the swing of things. First up on the bloggy calendar was a trip down to a very special edition of Blog Club – checking out the awesome Crown & Glory pop up at House of Fraser in Cabot Circus.
If you’ve never heard of Crown & Glory before, they are the undisputed queens of beautiful bespoke headgear; we’re talking flower crowns, gem encrusted kitten ears, floral fascinators and anything else guaranteed to make you glitter this festival season.
I was invited down to their candy cart of wonder to pick out my own flowers and foliage to be whipped up into a handmade, one-of-a-kind design before my very eyes! Me and Dulcie were the first to arrive and with a glass of bubbly firmly in hand, we got straight to work diving into the jars of colourful blooms.
Once chosen, the lovely Gareth from C&G began sorting my flowers into a delightful arrangement, before getting to work on creating my very own flower crown. I did surprise myself somewhat by picking a LOT of pink, and before too long I was mega jealous of other people’s (especially Lucy’s beautiful orange toned one), but once I’d seen the finished masterpiece that all went out the window!
Don’t we look smashing?
If you fancy choosing and arranging your own special one-off creation, head down to HoF in Cabot Circus, where you’ll find them at the back, near Paperchase.
You’d better hurry though, because they’re only there for this weekend only! Get your skates on!
I was very kindly invited along to choose my flower crown in exchange for this review, but all words and opinions are my own.
