I’m not usually one for posting about competition type things, but I just couldn’t pass this one up. Who doesn’t love winning things? Most especially, who doesn’t love winning a £5000 holiday!?
We’re all aware of the beautifully colourful and quirky wellies that Joules are famous for, and they’re offering one lucky budding designer the chance for their welly designs to be put into production and sold! Not only that, but they’ll be treated to a luxurious forest getaway, staying for 3 nights in a fancy treehouse cabin deep in the woods.
10 runners-up will each receive a £250 Joules gift card, and the winning welly design will go on sale at joules.com. What’s more, all proceeds from the sale of the limited edition winning welly will be donated to charity, via Joules’ ‘Charitably Joules’ initiative.
Not only does this sound awesome, but the way to enter is super fun too.
Just pop over to the Joules Design a Welly Competition page, and use the little interactive designer to get creative to your heart’s content. You can submit up to 5 designs, and you’ve got til early December to do so.
I don’t reckon my entry is going to go very far, do you? Haha.
What are you waiting for, eh!? Get your thinking cap on and hot foot it over to the welly creator now!
This post is in collaboration with Joules. Obvs.
This competition is now closed – thanks to everyone who took part!
Get your hands on a pair of tickets to the Foodies Festival to celebrate the Rioja Summer of Tapas with Wines from Rioja – find out more below!
It’s a bit of an understatement to say that Bristol has it’s fair share of awesome food and drink events – this city is made for gluttony, which is part of the reason I adore it so much.
Guess what, you guys?! There’s another chance to indulge yourself right around the corner!
I’ve teamed up with the awesome chaps from Wines at Rioja, who will be touring their ‘Rioja Summer of Tapas Fantasticas’ events around the country this summer, and are due to set up camp at the brilliant Foodies Festival up on Clifton Downs next weekend.
As part of the Rioja Summer of Tapas Fantasticas, Wines from Rioja are taking their award-winning Tapas Fantasticas festival on tour around the UK and Ireland. Over the weekend, festival visitors will have a chance to enjoy a broad selection of Rioja wines alongside classic and contemporary tapas dishes provided by London based Spanish caterers and jamón specialists Bar Tozino.
I’ll be popping along for the weekend and enjoying a tasty tipple or two in the summer sunshine, and here’s your chance to come along with me! The lovely folks at Wines from Rioja have offered a pair of one day tickets to Foodies Festival on Saturday or Sunday to not one, but two lucky readers!
To be in with a chance of winning this awesome prize, check out the Rafflecopter below, but be quick – the competition closes on the 25th June!

It was a bit windy on the harbour today. Me hat nearly blew off.
To celebrate the launch of the very festive themed new range of products (hooray!), the lovely folks at Turtle Mat set us crafty bloggers a challenge of creating an eye-catching Christmas jumper with a blank canvas and a budget of £5.
After much head scratching, and some Pinterest trawling, I settled on the idea of a polar bear, and so bought as much white fleece as I could with my little budget, and fashioned this curvy-looking chap on the front of the jumper supplied to me by Turtle Mat. After drawing a vague shape, cutting it out and badly sewing it to the front of my jumper I then took up my trusty embroidery floss to give this guy a nose, eyes, and fill in his teeny tiny little ears a bit.
I’ve never actually owned a Christmas jumper before (I KNOW!), so I’m pretty pleased that my very first one is something that I’ve fashioned myself. Me and my new pal David (Tom decided to call him David for some reason) went for a very blustery walk up and down the harbour this afternoon, and I had to hang on to my hat!
Do you like my creation? What would you do with a blank canvas and a fiver?!
